On January 22, 2012 in the early morning hours, the Union County Sheriffs Office responded to call regarding a possible kidnapping. After taking information from the complaint, deputies learned that Donald Hux had abducted his x-wife, Amy Huckabee, and their three children in Arkadelphia Arkansas.
Investigators determined that Hux drove from Arkadelphia to El Dorado during the early morning hours and dropped the three minor children off at a location in Union County.
During the investigation, Arkadelphia Police were notified of the situation and asked to do a welfare check at Amy Huckabee residence in Arkadelphia. Upon further investigation, Arkadelphia Police found Sandy Carl Huckabee deceased inside the residence.
Arkadelphia Police Department have issued an arrest warrant for Donald Hux for the following charges: Capital Murder, Kidnapping, Possession of Firearm by Certain Person and Aggravated Residential Burglary.
The Union County Sheriff Office, along with surrounding state and federal law enforcement agencies are currently looking for suspect Donald Hux and Amy Huckabee.
Suspect Donald Hux was last seen driving a 2005 Chevrolet Extended cab truck, tan in color, bearing Arkansas Licenses plate 487-MDZ. Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Union County Sheriffs Office at 870-864-1970 or your local law enforcement agency.
