I have seen a El dorado Police officer driving a Cadillac with rims that cost more than my car. I was told that the Car was seized by the Department, why haven't this car been sold? The 13th judicial Task force is telling the public that there near broke all the time. Well sell that damn cadillac and use that money to fund your force, so me and my fellow tax payers won't have to buy no tires for your 22 inch rims!

Angry in Union County!

Sounds like this should be taken up with the El Dorado Police Dept. if it was a police officer driving it as you stated.

Seized cars are sometimes used for a brief time to use for the purpose of undercover drug investigations. We have a couple around at the Sheriff's Office. As we use them it doesn't take the bad guys long to be able to spot them. When that happens they get sold as all seized cars do, normally on a once annual bases. I should add that the use is allowed for law enforcement purposes under state law.

Also I can confirm that those 20's were on the car when it was seized. Wink
